Hello Everyone, my name is Jeff Bryson and I am a second-year student in the Electronic Engineering Technician program studying at the Cumberland campus in Amherst, Nova Scotia. I was lucky enough to take part in the weather station project located here in St. Gorge, Grenada. Its only been one day so far but over all it has been quite the experience so far just from my first day here. We started with meeting the students at the local T.A. Merryshow community college and doing lots of fun introduction ice breakers to meet each other. We then got to learn about their culture and the local history that took place here on the island. Its only been one day so far and I have already taken about 300 photos, what can I say this island is breath taking. Every where’s you look there’s some kind of hidden beauty always waiting to be found. Aside from the beauty the food is something else, I’ve eaten at a few places already but its nothing like back home, there’s always something new worth trying out. If you’re looking for a fun warm felt place like home to vacation or even a chance to do and exchange program I recommend Grenada for your first stop choice. This is the first time I’ve ever been outside of Canada and I have been loving every second of it here, it’s a super friendly place to chill out and relax, even if you have to do a little work.
