Spanish & Service Learning Summer School in Ecuador – This summer I was fortunate to spend a total of 4 weeks in the beautiful country of Ecuador. I was so lucky to have met so many wonderful people and immerse myself in its rich culture. While in Ecuador we were so lucky to have met so many wonderful people. From students at UEES to people we met while on our trip to the coast or just going out to our usual spots.

Having gone through a very rough time just before leaving for Ecuador, It really helped me get through the hard times and allowed me to really learn a lot about me as a person and I feel like I grew from the experience. Having met so many different people really allowed me to branch out and experience a new part of life and I am forever grateful for the experience.

From riding bikes across the bridge to Isla Santay, to drinks at the food garden on my birthday, to learning to salsa under the stars at Cabalonga – These are memories and experiences I will treasure for the rest of my life.
