Mikumi Solar Water Project in Tanzania – I have finally climatized to the weather here, and i have learned a valuable lesson to not trust the weather network. A rainy day here means 5 minutes of complete downpour and sunshine for the rest of the day.

Complaining about the heat aside, i have met some extraordinary people at the VETA and made some great friends. Everyone here is very friendly and excited to talk to you, even if the conversation is short because of language barriers. I've learned that a high five is a form of communication all in it's own.

The students at VETA are excited to learn from us and our culture, including our fashion wear. One student was fascinated with my agriculture hat so i gave it to him as many people do not wear hats here.
