This program is funded by GLOBAL SKILLS OPPORTUNITY, the Government of Canada’s Outbound Student Mobility Pilot Program.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a major focus of the Nova Scotia Community College. SDG #4 – “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life-long learning opportunities for all” inspires us to present this exciting NSCC International Global Skills Opportunity.

NOTE: The implementation of all 2022 International Global Skills opportunities, will be subject to change and will depend on the travel advisories in place from the Government of Canada and NSCC international travel policy and procedures.

Program Name – Bridge the Ocean – Nordic Culinary, Hospitality & Entrepreneurship

Dates – May 2022 (2 weeks)

Location – Finland

Local Partner – Vocational College Lappia

Eligible Students – NSCC students from any program with a passion for culinary, hospitality and entrepreneurship

Estimated Cost – $4,000

Bursary – up to $2500/$3500

Physical Activity Requirements – Level 3

Pre-Departure – Includes an online pre-departure course and virtual pre-departure conference
