The Cayman Islands is one of the most amazing places I have ever been. The whole island is breathtakingly beautiful and the people are so warm and welcoming. This place was never on my travel list and if it’s not on yours I highly recommend it! We got here on Saturday and this weekend we got the chance to enjoy the beach and take a trip to stingray city! Snorkelling and feeding the rays is something I will never forget, it was unreal. My interest in hedge funds is what took me here and since Monday I have been fueled with tons of information. Between classroom learning, guest speakers and industry visits this complex concept is becoming more understandable! The companies we have visited have been so inviting and ready to answer every question we had. Our guest speakers have shared their stories of success and hardships and I feel very privileged to have this inside information. I feel inspired and excited to start my career in the hedge fund industry and who knows maybe I will look for the opportunity to work in the Caymans someday!
