ISTEP Tanzania Nova Scotia Study Tour – During the international learning program, what I enjoyed most was about microteaching.

 Microteaching is the type of teaching method or techniques that is used in teaching and learning process, which make teaching to be clear following BOPPS.

The following is the meaning of the abbreviation BOPPS

B=Bridge in

O=Objective

P=Pre-Test

P=participatory

P=Post Test

S=Summary

We made several trips in different museums such as ross farm museum, Tour of fisheries museums of the Atlantic, blue rocks fishing /boat tours, storytelling, Ghost story telling tour, Tour of Peggy’s cove with great expedition tour, landscaping areas and environment conservation.

I feel privileged to be one of the teachers visiting Canada for technical training. Through the skills and knowledge, I acquired Will collaborate with other teachers to ensure ecotourism program is established in Mikumi soon.  My areas of interest include decoration, bed making, cleaning, cultural issue concerning housekeeping, landscaping and environment conservation.
