Bridge the Ocean Entrepreneurship Project - I had the opportunity to attend BTO Entrepreneurship Module
I decided to apply to the Graphic & Print Production program at NSCC on a whim. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was excited and open to the experience. So far, I am quite pleased with my program and what I have accomplished as a student. I have a lot of respect for my instructors as they have managed to put together comprehensive and challenging courses that are also fun and hands-on, and I love that one of our classrooms is an actual print shop. Service Learning Week is always a very memorable, rewarding, and fulfilling experience.
I think the funniest thing I did when I got here was going to the bus stop without checking the schedule. I didn’t know there was an app for that, so I would wait at the bus stop not knowing that the bus wouldn’t show up for another hour.
I have learned many important skills at NSCC, but the most relevant one has been time management. It was the topic of one of the first assignments we completed at the beginning of the school year and it has made a huge difference in how I juggle school, working part-time, and volunteering.
