Entrepreneurship Summer Program in Scotland – Scotland, the land of unicorns and the home of golf..

Well, as we’re wrapping up our last few days here in Scotland (sadly) I’m sitting in a beautiful mansion that overlooks greenery and an amazing property. I’m wondering what I’ve taken from this trip…

I’ve had some first, like seeing a football game (and Aberdeen is crazy about their team), and learning some German. Mainly besides the site seeing and whiskey tastings I’ve taken in the amazing people around me. The Germans we’re travelling with, the staff at RGU and the Burn, and even two of our advisors at NSCC that I didn’t really know before (Thanks Jim and Zoran!!).

My favorite experience of the trip has been taking in all the scenery. Nova Scotia (or New Scotland) really is very similar to Scotland and where we have visited, the difference is the history that has been created here where as home is very young.

I’m hoping my career will benefit from this trip, as I’ve got to meet so many people from around the world and get to see how they interact with their businesses. I now have that knowledge to further and even better my own path in life.
