International Tourism in Spain – April 30, 2019

Today we flew to Barcelona. The flight didn’t seem to long but it’s probably because I was so tired I slept. Once we arrived in Barcelona we waited for our luggage and went straight into our adventure!

We ended up getting 3 day passes for the underground and buses so we can use free transportation to save some money. It was my first time on a train/underground it was such an amazing experience! Although I did get nervous with how fast you had to get on and off but we were fine!

“Our day started of with arriving at the airport in Madrid. (It was also my birthday) We all made it safely and no luggage was lost! We decided to take the metro to get to our accommodations. We had a little trouble finding the stop at first but we eventually found it and started our journey. We then walked to our accommodations to realize we needed to walk to the office to get the keys. We all made our way through the streets with our luggage which was very tiring.

We then made our way back to see the beautiful place we had the pleasure of staying at. Once settled we headed out for lunch and choose Lizzaran which was right down the street.

After our delicious lunch we bought our Hop on Hop off tour bus tickets. A few of us were very tired from all the traveling and were falling asleep on the bus. We did a loop around and went back for a nap. After that we went out for dinner at El Cafe de la Reina.

All in all it was a great day and I was glad to celebrate my birthday with everyone.”

Our day started with all of us sleeping in which we had not done yet during the trip. We left around noon and went to catch the bus to go into Sevilla and get something to eat. Once we finished lunch we walked around to see a little more of the city and to see the Real Alcazar. After that we made our way over to the April Fair that is put on each year. The amount of flamenco dresses was unreal, everyone looked so beautiful. We stayed there for a little bit and Chris, Brandi, Kristen and I went on one of the carnival rides. After that we were all getting tired so we headed back to our place which took us a while with the amount of people that were in the city. After we got back we all got ready for our flight to Barcelona which was leaving the next day. Sevilla was a great place to visit and I’m glad we got to go.
