I am part of the NSCC crew that created a weather station to be operated by the Grenada Power Company. (GRENLEC)  Brandon Fields and Jeff Bryson make up the rest of the NSCC team under the advisement of Mr. Dennis Myer. Together we are collaborating with a team from TA Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) in Grenada.

We all came together to produce a working weather station and installed it on one of their sites. The next day we went to another site with a 300kW solar panel field, and took out the old weather station for analysis. We also had lots of class time to work on any problems that arose and to fine tune the station.

It has been a pleasure and a learning experience working with TAMCC and nscc International. Grenada is a very beautiful island and the locals are very pleasant and easy to talk to. It’s like being in paradise with fruits and nuts growing on nearly every tree, the birds and wildlife all around, and much more. I would like to thank the weather station team, nscc International, TAMCC, and the Grenadians for the great experience.
